2019 Wedding Trends
Well, hello 2019! January is here and so is ‘Blue Monday’. I’ve decided to say NO THANKS to the most depressing day of the year and instead of feeling gloomy, I am looking forwards. We have so many adventures coming our way! 2018 was an incredible year for Rock the Day, and we're planning on making 2019 even better! So let’s say BOO to Blue Monday with a look at these joyous 2019 wedding trends.
The wedding industry is a fast mover and predicting trends is an important part of successful wedding styling. We are seeing more and more brides looking for a paired down version of styling for their 2019 weddings. Think greenery, earthy tones and an all round more relaxed approach to their celebration.

Lots of our couples are choosing grazing tables over a formal wedding breakfast and we are big fans! Grazing tables are open air feasts; big platters served on rustic furniture with lots and lots of beautiful foliage.

2019 weddings will feel close to nature. Couples are bringing the outdoors in by choosing to use foliage like Eucalyptus to compliment their florals. Eucalyptus is amazing, it can totally transform anything from bouquets and button holes to backdrops and table runners. Also, it smells glorious! If you're planning on using it for your wedding, keep a few sprigs at home. It dries beautifully so it keeps for ages, and every time you catch a whiff it will take you back to your best day ever.
