Sonia & Ben's Tipi Wedding
Some of our couples have very specific ideas about what they want for their wedding, and we set to work bringing those ideas to reality. Other couples are super open to ideas and let us create whatever we please - Sonia & Ben were definitely the latter.
They were honestly the loveliest couple to work with - so trusting and open. We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know them, and to say we enjoyed having free reign on our first ever tipi wedding would be an understatement!
Here's a run down of the day and our favourite features from this beautiful, fun-filled wedding...

Sonia & Ben had a church ceremony, which was absolutely gorgeous - so many flowers and so many smiling faces.
Then, it was time to hop on a bus to the reception!
If your ceremony is more than a few minutes away from your reception venue, having a little fun with the transfer is a great idea - it keeps the cheer flowing, and gets guests chatting, too!
On arrival guests were treated to Rossi's ice-cream (a local delicacy and quite possibly the best ice-cream we have ever tasted!)...
... and music by the wonderful Three Mile Hill...
Everyone then made their way over to the tipi - with a little guidance from these awesome pallet signs that Sonia had made herself!
We absolutely loved styling the tipi, and we think it looked pretty great - if we do say so ourselves!
Sonia told us that she loved our hanging hoops, so we created three hoops with Scent's beautiful flowers for inside the tipi.
The tables were decorated with lace runners, made by Ben's very talented Mum, and we added candles, more gorgeous flowers by Scent and styled the place settings.
The eucalyptus adorning this Wonderland Invites table plan came straight from the garden! Such a beautifully bohemian touch!
In the evening, guests enjoyed cocktails at The Craft Drinks Company's cocktail bar, speeches and dancing.
